See your heart. Know more. Live better.

A clearer first look at your heart.

Many people know their blood pressure and cholesterol—but have never seen their heart moving in real time. Cardiac Quick View makes focused cardiac ultrasound approachable, efficient and easy to understand.

This is a screening service, not a complete diagnostic echocardiogram. Results must be considered together with your symptoms, medical history and physician’s evaluation.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions.

What is Cardiac Quick View?+

Cardiac Quick View is a focused heart-ultrasound screening performed with a handheld Butterfly iQ3 probe. It is designed to provide a quick look at selected aspects of heart structure and function and to identify findings that may warrant medical follow-up.

What is Butterfly iQ3?+

Butterfly iQ3 is Butterfly Network’s advanced handheld ultrasound system. It connects to a compatible mobile device and uses one probe for multiple clinical imaging applications, including FDA-cleared cardiac imaging.

What can a focused heart screening look at?+

A focused screening may provide a quick view of overall heart motion, chamber appearance, selected valve motion and the area around the heart. The exact views obtained depend on your anatomy and image quality.

Is this a complete echocardiogram or medical diagnosis?+

No. Cardiac Quick View is a limited screening and is not a comprehensive diagnostic echocardiogram, physician interpretation or substitute for medical care. A concerning or incomplete screening may lead to a recommendation for follow-up with your physician or a formal echocardiogram.

How is iQ3 different from iQ+?+

Compared with iQ+, iQ3 offers faster processing, improved image quality and updated software and AI-enabled tools. Cardiac Quick View uses iQ3 to support an efficient, portable screening experience.

Is the screening painful or invasive?+

No. Ultrasound is noninvasive and does not use ionizing radiation. Gel is placed on the chest and the handheld probe is moved across several positions to obtain heart images.
